Trish's Wish provides support and financial assistance, to families residing in the City of Kawartha Lakes, that are in crisis as a result of a serious illness or injury to a family member who is between the ages of 17 and 25.

What We Do:

In 2005 the community of Little Britain and Lindsay got together to form our organization making Trish Peter's wish a reality.

Today, thanks to volunteer support and fundraising efforts, 28 families have been given over $300,000. Support ranges from wheelchairs, modified beds, assistance equipment and medications and procedures that aren't covered by health insurance. Financial support is also available for families to cover hospital expenses, parking, food and other costs incurred from traveling for medical treatment.

Trish's Wish Foundation is a non-profit organization registered with the charities division of the Canada Revenue Income Tax Act effective August 21, 2006.
